Upward Basketball is coming! Upward promotes character and fun for every child by: - Providing an evaluation system that promotes equal and competitive teams - Establishing a one-hour practice and game each week - Implementing a substitution system for each team, allowing every child equal playing time - Creating the opportunity for every child to learn and improve their skills in the sport Participating in Upward will give your child a chance to experience good sportsmanship on and off the court. Your child will also receive a special recognition award after every game and will have the opportunity to develop new friendships. Evaluations: Saturday, January 9th Practices begin the week of: Monday, January 11, 2010 First Game: Saturday, January 23, 2010 Awards Celebration: Monday, March 29, 2010 Brochures are available in the entry of the church OR call to have one mailed to you.
