Advent is a time of hope and expectation as we await the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We remember that He came as a baby, born in a humble stable, and we look forward to His return in glory. As we light the Advent candles and sing the Advent hymns, we are reminded that He is the light of the world, come to dispel the darkness and bring us His peace.
